FANNY SORGO is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vienna.

​

She studied Scenic Writing and Narrative Film at the University of the Arts Berlin and works as a writer, performer, musician, and filmmaker.

 

Her directorial film debut  Tako Tsubo, created together with Argentinian artist Eva Pedroza, celebrated its world premiere at the 74th Berlinale in 2024 and is currently touring internationally.

Her writings and plays have been presented at various theaters across Europe, including the Deutsche Oper Berlin. In 2023, she released her first two songs, which are available on all streaming platforms.

​

Her works are represented by the Berlin publishing house

Felix Bloch Erben and by Sixpackfilm Vienna.
